Helen Vilardi, 83, formerly of West Windsor, passed away peacefully at home in Princeton on Thursday, December 12, 2024, after a life well-lived and filled with cherished moments.
Born on December 7, 1941, in New York, NY, Helen spent her early years in the vibrant East side of New York City before making her home in Queens to start a family with her beloved husband, Anthony. She later relocated to Virginia to be closer to her two boys, John and James, who were attending college, before moving to Mercer County, NJ in 2001. Helen was a proud graduate of Washington Irving High School and City College of New York where she earned her Associate's Degree. Her educational foundation paved the way for her successful career as an Executive Secretary in the advertising industry, where she dedicated many years of her life until her retirement.
Above all, Helen's profound love for her family was the cornerstone of her life. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to cherishing every moment with her sons, John and James, her daughter-in-law, Mary, and especially her beloved grandchildren, Anthony and Jamie. Her warmth, compassion, and steadfast support touched all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
A devoted Catholic and attendee of St. David the King Roman Catholic Church, Helen found joy and fellowship in her community, and her faith was a guiding force in her life. She also took great pride in fostering relationships and friendships throughout the community that enriched her life and the lives of those around her.
