Obituary of Thomas E. Wood

Thomas E. Wood, 83, of East Windsor, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Preferred Care at Hamilton.

Born in Princeton, Tom grew up in the Princeton area and attended school in Jamesburg.  He settled in East Windsor many years ago. He worked at McGraw Hill as manager of the data center until retirement after 35 years of service with the company.

In years past, Tom was very active with the McGraw Hill Company softball team. He was a pitcher and an outfielder with the team.  He also enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, bowling, golfing, and family card night.

Predeceased by his parents, Howard and Lucille Wood and his brothers, Howard “Bucky” Wood, and Richard Wood; he is survived by his loving wife, Christine A. (Sommer) Wood; his son, Jason Wood; his daughter, Jennifer Wood Capasso and her husband, Robert; his grandson, Devin; his brother, Robert Wood; and his nieces and nephews.

Private Graveside Services were held at Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville, New Jersey, under the direction of Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services.
