Daniel Darling, 76, of Hightstown, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

Born in Princeton, Daniel, or Double D as he was affectionally known, was raised in Cranbury and a longtime resident of Hightstown. After graduating from Hightstown High School, he went on to work for the Borough of Hightstown for many, many years. After retiring, he worked as a stock clerk for over 10 years at the East Windsor Shop Rite. In his spare time, Daniel enjoyed watching TV, especially Family Feud.

Predeceased by his parents, Elizabeth and Charles Darling; and his sister, Leola Gregory; he is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Woodrow and Sharon Darling, Charles and Diane Darling; John Darling and Robert and Carline Darling; his sister, Betty Darling; his many nieces and nephews; and his grandnieces and grandnephews.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ.

Cremation will be private.
