Obituary of Samuel Santiago, Jr.

Samuel Santiago, Jr., 69, a lifelong resident of Hightstown, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Belle Care Nursing Home in Trenton.

Born in Trenton, Samuel resided in Hightstown for most of his life before settling in Trenton several months ago. Mr. Santiago worked at for General Motors of Trenton for many years.

In his free time, Mr. Santiago enjoyed fishing, riding his bike, helping with yard work, but he most enjoyed spending time with his daughters and grandchildren. We will all miss him so much! Samuel was in recovery for over 35 years and was very proud of this.

Predeceased by his parents, Samuel Santiago, Sr., Marie Elonis and his brother, Ricardo Santiago, he is survived by his daughters, Dymphna Santiago and Marcia Santiago; his grandchildren, Jared, Raven, Deja, Zachery, Nevaeh and Diamond; an uncle, Franklin Sherman; and a few cousins.

Cremation services are private under the direction of Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ.
