Obituary of Elizabeth E. Day

Elizabeth E. Day, 77, of East Windsor, NJ, passed away at home on Monday, January 22, 2023.

Born in Newark, NJ, over the years Elizabeth, resided in various towns in New Jersey, Maryland and Florida.  She has resided in East Windsor for 10 years. She worked as a secretary and paralegal prior to owning a T-shirt company and then following through with her passion, making specialty chocolates. She along with her son, Joseph owned and operated Betty's Special Chocolates.

Devout in her faith, Betty was a member St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church.  Above all else, she cherished her family.

Predeceased by her parents, Hans and Ann, she is survived by her husband of 56 years, Joseph; her son and daughter-in-love, Joseph and Susan; her daughter, Meghan; and her grandsons, Joseph and Peter Edward.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday February 17, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua R.C., Maxwell Avenue and Franklin Street, Hightstown NJ.

Arrangements are under the direction of Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ.
