Obituary of Gladysrose M. Rusch

Gladysrose Mary Rusch, 86, of Hightstown, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro in Plainsboro, NJ.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Mrs. Rusch lived in East Brunswick, Brick, and for over 10 years in Jackson, before settling in Hightstown two years ago. She was employed as an executive secretary for Exxon and NEC Laboratories until her retirement 20 years ago.

In her later years, Gladysrose went to seminary and became an ordained minister. She served her Bella Terra community through The Word of God Christian Ministry while living in Jackson Township.

Gladysrose also enjoyed square dancing in years past and playing cards with her card club. She played the piano and loved to sing with the church choir. Along with the rest of the family, she was a dedicated Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Above all else, she cherished her family.

Predeceased by her parents, Frank and Elizabeth (Mitchell) Taylor and her husband, Darwin E. Rusch; she is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Lauralynne R. and Wayne Cokeley of Hightstown and Karen M. and Joel Stolte of Toms River; her grandchildren and their spouses, Jason R. and Hallie Cokeley, Erik A. and Crystal Cokeley, Jeremy S. Cokeley and his partner, Laurette and Danielle V. and Michael Rutalis; and her great-grandchildren, Chase, Brooke, Lincoln, Kennedy and Grant Cokeley and Everly Rutalis.
