Carmen Barahona, 81, of East Windsor, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023 at Carnegie Post Acute Care in Princeton, New Jersey.

Born in El Salvador, Carmen came to the USA over 30 years ago. She cherished time with her family and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

Carmen is survived by her children, Liduvina Merino and Melvin Merino; her five grandchildren; her sister; and her brothers.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, from 6:00 pm until 7:15 pm, with a prayer service beginning at 7:15pm, at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, New Jersey.

Cremation will be private.
