Obituary of Wendy Lee Albertson

Wendy L. Albertson, 61, of Hightstown, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at the Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Born in Harrisburg, PA, Wendy was raised in Clark, NJ and has resided in Hightstown for over 30 years. Wendy received her bachelor’s degree from the former Glassboro State College and went on to receive her master’s degree from Rutgers University Business School.  She worked at ETS (Educational Testing Services) of Princeton for over 21 years.

In her spare time, Wendy loved to spend time at the beach. She particularly loved Long Beach Island, but her favorite place was Cape May.  She loved doing word games and crossword puzzles, and she enjoyed competing with her father over the New York Times crossword puzzle.

Predeceased by her mother, Anne (Stone) Heiss; she is survived by her husband of 33 years, Bradley J. Albertson; her daughter, Samantha Albertson of Browns Mills; her father, Warren Heiss of Wycoff; her siblings, Scott W. Heiss of Stroudsburg, PA, and Donna Miller of Westfield; her 10 nieces and nephews; and her aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Cremation Services were private under the direction of Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ.

A Celebration of Wendy’s Life will be held at a future date, to be announced.
