I have many fond childhood memories of Mrs. Orlando as a young mother and they're not from holidays or parties, but just ordinary days of boys being boys. One in particular comes to mind, when Michael, Ronnie and I were playing on the upstairs landing of their aunt's farmhouse, where Cranbury Manor is now. We were dropping our little paratroopers, watching them swoop down when someone had a BIG idea of getting a bed sheet to make a parachute to carry their little sister, Fran, "gently" to the ground. Ever the observant, vigilant and protective mother, Mrs. O. caught us in our busyness and thwarted our best laid plans and play, saving Fran but sending me home... without any cookies! Great memories, great family, great loss. With love and our sympathy, Doug (and Nancy) Forer.

Aunt Sally’s party house! and so much more….Such awesome memories! For me, and it all started at my bridal shower in the spring of 1969! Family picnics, special birthdays. Her love of music was joyous!Christmas Eve was like no other. She baked cookies months before, in the evenings after work, and froze them. The variety of so many different cookies, was hard for me to comprehend!! Awesomeness filled with love. She made an individual platter wrapped in cellophane, for each family to take home. Our favorite gift! She made special ornaments for the children. Her love of family and her youth on the farm! I loved the story of how her father came to America to marry his brother’s widow were some of the many awesome stories she loved to share. Her sense of humor and laugh were always present. She listened, and gently advised.
We were blessed to walk with her for so many precious years. She was that special gem!! Now it’s time for Sally to rest in peace and be with her beloved John!!
Blessings to all!
Love Suzanne

Endless Christmas eves and conversations. Going to plays, movies and listening to music. You always left a visit with Aunt Sally wiser, kinder, and belly laughing. Her Italian cooking and Christmas cookies were unmatched. And continue to ruin future Christmas’s rightfully so. I can still hear her beautiful laugh and her sense of humor. She is and was everything. We love you and miss you greatly. Thank you for filling our lives with joy and memories..
