Obituary of Rose Marie Patterson

Rose Marie Patterson, 93, of South Brunswick, formerly of Hightstown, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Complete Care of South Brunswick, NJ.

Born in Cranbury, New Jersey, Rose Marie was a lifelong Cranbury/Hightstown area resident.  She retired as the manager of food services with the East Windsor Regional School District, after many years of service. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hightstown Fire Company.

Rose Marie enjoyed doing word searches, scratch-offs and trips to Atlantic City.  Above all else, she was a devoted wife, daughter, mother, and grandmother, and will be fondly remembered for her dedication to her family and her great strength.

Predeceased by her parents, George and Violet (Cornell) Reed and her husband, Milton Patterson; she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Joseph Leonard; her six grandchildren, Stephanie Cella, Jaclyn Leonard, Thomas Leonard, Jesse Leonard, Tyler Leonard and Bryce Leonard; her great grandchildren, Alyssa, Kaeleigh, Michael, Amelia, Sadie and Joanna; her two sisters and three brothers; and her many nieces and nephews.

Private services were held under the direction of Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ.
