Obituary of Ailene B. Robinson

Ailene B. Robinson, 88, of East Windsor, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. 

Born in Ontario Canada, Mrs. Robinson came to the United States in 1941 settling in Buffalo, New York. She resided in East Brunswick for over 10 years and then in Branchburg before recently moving to East Windsor. Mrs. Robinson was proud to become a U.S.A. citizen in 1971.

Mrs. Robinson enjoyed a long career in real estate having been an agent with the Bob Grimm Agency and Weichert Realty. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting, making floral arrangements, and gardening. She was a talented gourmet cook.

Predeceased by her parents, George W. Mabey and Beatrice S. (Hohl) Mabey Rudhard; and her sisters, Jean Davis and Helen Guild; she is survived by her daughters, Janet L. Johnson and Dorothy Smith; her sons, Richard Robinson and his fiancée, Gabrielle Schmidt, and Brian Robinson; her grandchildren, Konrad Johnson (Anna); Kurt Johnson (Nicole); Christian Robinson (Danielle), and Cryslyn Wolfe; her great grandchildren, Aurora, Ariana, Ember, and Ashton Henry; her longtime companion, Harry Fischer; her brother, George W. Mabey (Genevieve); and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday, February 3rd, 2023 at 3:30 p.m. at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ. Friends and family may gather from 3:00 pm until the time of services.

Cremation services were held privately.
