Obituary of Gary Wm. Morris

Gary Wm. Morris, 73 of Spotswood, passed away Friday, December 30, 2022 at Old Bridge Medical Center.

 

Born in Trenton, Gary was raised in Hightstown and graduated from Hightstown High School.  He served in the United States Naval Reserves for many years.

 

Gary worked in customer service and management throughout his career. Over the years he was a manager for Shop Rite, a local Burger King, McDonald’s, and Taco Bell, as well as a service technician for 3M. He went on to work for Eco-Lab and most recently for Regis Inventory of Clark, in client services.

 

In years past, Gary was involved with the American Legion and the Lawrenceville Fire Department. He enjoyed NASCAR, playing golf and vacationing in Myrtle Beach.

 

Predeceased by his parents William F. and Audrey B. (Westover) Morris; he is survived by his daughters, Michele Thomas, Jamie Johnson, and Jessica Ku; his longtime companion Nancy Doren; his brother, Glenn E. Morris; his sister, Gail Carter; and his grandchildren.

 

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 3:30 until 6:00 p.m., with a prayer service beginning at 6:00p.m. at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ.

 

Interment will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Princeton Memorial Park, 403 Gordon Road, Robbinsville, NJ
