Obituary of Mary G. Serinese
Mary Serinese, 100, of East Windsor, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022, surrounded by her family, at her residence in East Windsor.
Born in Barnesboro, Pennsylvania, Mary was raised in New Brunswick and graduated from New Brunswick High School. In 1951, she married Anthony Serinese and they raised their four children in their home in East Windsor. She was a wonderful person who was light-hearted, kind, caring, and always lit up a room with her radiant smile. Several years later in 1965, Mary and her husband co-founded The Vegetable Garden, now Timothy's Center for Gardening in Robbinsville, of which she was very proud.
Mary always enjoyed antiquing with her sisters and spending time at the Senior Center where she spent time with her dear friends. Above all else, she cherished her family whom she adored, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents, Tony and Annie Marie (Coreo) Georgiana; her husband of 57 years, Anthony Serinese; her daughter, Jacqueline Lebak; and her seven siblings; she is survived by her daughter, Michele Serinese; her two sons and daughters-in-law, Vincent and Barbara Serinese and Anthony and Susan Serinese; her son-in-law and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Cathy Lebak; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joseph Serinese and Jean Comolli Forlano and Mario and Janice Serinese; her grandchildren, Timothy and Lisa Serinese, Steven and Kristina Foster, Talia and Jared Sapp, Joseph Solack and Amelia Wieger, Allyson Lebak and Khanh Nguyen; her seven great-grandchildren; and her many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Robbinsville Community Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2314 NJ-33, Robbinsville, NJ 08691.
Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mary’s memory to Lifetree Community Church, PO Box 516, Windsor, New Jersey 08561.
Arrangements are under the direction of Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ.
