Obituary of Margaret McDonald

Margaret McDonald, 82, of East Windsor, NJ, passed away at home on Friday, August 26, 2022.

Born in Barbados, Margaret came to the United States in 1965. She settled in East Windsor 40 years ago.  She worked as a secretary with Cornick, Garber, & Sadler, an accounting firm in New York for 40 years. 

In her spare time, Margaret loved to watch football and participate in an occasional football pool with her friends.

Predeceased by her parents, Ivan and Isa Douglas and her husband, Zachariah; she is survived by her sisters, Jean, Sylvia and Jackie; her cousins, Marline and Ingrid; her nieces, Maxine, Junie and Gayle; her nephews, including, Ian Solomon; her extended family in Barbados; and her three dearest friends, Anne Holder, Janet Junes and Maureen Gibson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 26, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ.

Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Hightstown, NJ.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, September 26, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel.
