Virginia G. Jordan, 95, of East Windsor, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro, NJ.

Born in Pennsylvania, Mrs. Jordan has resided in East Windsor for 58 years. She attended nursing school in Indiana, PA where she earned her LPN. Once married and having settled in New Jersey she worked for the Lenox Factory in Trenton before staying at home to raise her children.

Mrs. Jordan loved the outdoors. She was passionate about gardening, both fruits and vegetables, as well as flowers. She enjoyed home canning and she recycled everything before recycling was an environmental focus.

Predeceased by her parents, Frank and Josephine Klimchak; her husband of 66 years, Paul Jordan; her daughter, Donna J. Jordan; and her siblings, baby Gladys Klimchak, Helen Kowalik, and John and Louis Klimchak; she is survived by her sons, Paul Jordan and James D. Jordan; her daughter, Joanne Jones; her grandchildren, Ian and James Jordan, Jessica Tordai and David Jones; and her many nieces and nephews, including her special angel, Kelly Klein.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, from 11:15 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ. Funeral services will follow beginning at 12:45.

Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in North Hanover, NJ.

Masks are optional for the visitation and funeral services of Mrs. Jordan.
