Elaine Husinko, 74, of East Windsor, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro, NJ. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Elaine resided in East Windsor for 40 years before moving to Ft. Myers Florida for 10 years. She was an Administrator with Princeton University Mathematics Department for 21 years retiring in 2006 In her retirement Elaine enjoyed her grandson Eric Douglas of Pennsylvania, her pets Max and Bella, and the New York Yankees. Predeceased by her parents, Michael and Helen Hurkala “Dedo and Baba”; Elaine is survived by her sons, Peter Husinko of Millstone NJ, Eric Husinko, and Christopher Husinko both of East Windsor NJ. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021, from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., with a prayer service beginning at 3:15 p.m., at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ. The Husinko family requests that masks be worn by all attendees at the visitation and funeral services of Elaine.
