Theresa Sirawsky, 91, of Hightstown, passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at the Homestead in Hamilton Twp., NJ.
Born in Nanty-Glo, PA, Mrs. Sirawsky resided in Hightstown for the past 71 years and was an active member of St. Anthony of Padua Church where she sang in the church choir. Theresa served as the President for the Altar Rosary Society and was active member of the Anthonians. While singing with the Contemporary Choir Group, they traveled to Rome where they performed for the Pope and she was able to shake Pope John Paul's hand.
Predeceased by her parents, Emery and Helen Philip; her brothers, Emery, John, Cyril Thomas and Paul; and her sisters, Ann, Marge, Mary Ann, Helen, Betty and Barbara; she is survived by her four daughters and sons-in-law, Helen and Jim Vujevich, Rose Kaiser, Donna and Bob Langner, and Kathy Blum and Larry Oswald; her three sons and daughters-in-law, George and Cathy Sirawsky, Andrew and Jill Sirawsky, and Matthew Jon Sirawsky; her 12 grandchildren, Melissa and Pat Chester, BJ and Melissa Gardner, Thomas and Kymberly Gardner, Ryan and Meredith Dickinson, Dana and Dan Smith, Bob and Jennifer Langner, Cory Langner and Tom Cossari, Nikkolette and Justin Beers, Madison Sirawsky, Samantha Blum and Amy and Kelly Sirawsky; her fourteen great-grandchildren, Juliana, Brendan and Ryan Chester, Taylor and Payton Gardner, Aurora Gardner, RJ, Reese and Reagan Dickinson, Daniel, Nora and Carter Smith, Bobby Max and Valerie Langner; her brother, Steve Philip; and her many nephews and nieces.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday afternoon, September 7, 2021, from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 251 Franklin Street, Hightstown, NJ.
An evening visitation will be held at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 251 Franklin Street, Hightstown, NJ.
Interment will follow at Princeton Memorial Park in Robbinsville, NJ.
Masks are optional for the visitation and funeral services of Mrs. Sirawsky.
