Leo L. Meisberger, 84, formerly of East Windsor, passed peacefully at Providence Hospital in Mobile, AL on August 10, 2018.
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Leo served in the U.S Army. After his time of service he received his Bachelors of Science Degree from Lamar State College of Technology in Beaumont, Texas and went on to receive his Master of Science in 1971 from Memphis State University. Leo moved his family to East Windsor in 1972. He worked as a radiation physicist at St. Peter’s Hospital in New Brunswick until his retirement in 1995.
Leo was a long-time member of the Hightstown Elks (BPOE #1955), where he served as Exalted Ruler from 1984-85. Leo moved to Mobile, AL in early 2015.
Leo is survived by his 3 children, Steven Meisberger, David Meisberger, and Vivian Meisberger Barton; his son-in-law, John Barton; his 8 grandchildren and their spouses; and his 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ.
