So sorry to hear about Bette. She has been a great neighbor and friend for many years. Bette was so kind and would always want to help if my boys needed any tutoring etc.
I always think of a funny story about Bette that happened years ago. She had her very old cat that had belonged to her mother, and it was lost. I heard a rustling in my shed and went outside to investigate. There was the cat, I called Bette right away. She nearly jumped over my fence to get to my yard. First she cried, then she laughed and was so happy the cat was safe. That showed me what a caring person she was.
I will always remember her. And my thoughts and love go out to Steve and Jordana.
