Randy F. Turchin Obituary
Randy F. Turchin, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026, at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro. She was 66 years old.
Born on May 16, 1960, in Brooklyn, NY, Randy was raised in East Meadow, Long Island, where she graduated from East Meadow High School. Her thirst for knowledge led her to Middlesex County Community College, where she earned an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts. In a beautiful union of love and devotion, she married the love of her life, David Turchin, and together they established a warm and welcoming home in Twin Rivers and ultimately East Windsor, where they nurtured their two sons, Joshua and Adam.
Randy proudly served as an Administrative Assistant at Hightstown High School for over 25 years, where her warm spirit and dedication to education touched countless students and colleagues alike. Her commitment to her work was matched only by her passion for her family. As an active member of the Parent-Teacher Organization during her children’s formative years, she was always present, fostering connections and creating lasting memories. Randy's love for her husband, David Turchin, was evident in every gesture and word; together they created a home filled with warmth and laughter. She was a nurturing and supportive mother to her two sons, Joshua and Adam, encouraging them to pursue their dreams with fierce determination.
A true Disney enthusiast, Randy took joy in all things Winnie the Pooh and created cherished family memories at Disney parks. She found delight in the timeless tale of “The Wizard of Oz,” and her spirit thrived through the melodious sounds of her favorite band, Chicago, along with the heartfelt tunes of country music. A passionate cook, she loved to experiment with new recipes, lovingly sharing her culinary adventures with her family. Randy’s spirit will continue to inspire and uplift those who had the privilege of knowing her, as she lives on in the hearts of her loved ones.
Randy was predeceased by her parents, Joel and Linda (Herman) Levy, and her brother, Michael Levy. Randy leaves behind her loving husband of 48 years, David, of East Windsor; her beloved sons, Joshua Turchin of East Windsor and Adam Turchin of Los Angeles, CA; her brother, Ira Levy, of Long Island, NY; and her beloved fur babies, Fozzie Bear and Monkey. She will be deeply missed by her extended family and many dear friends who were touched by her kindness and warmth over the years.
