Richard Sullivan, Jr. Obituary
Richard Sullivan, Jr., 60, of East Windsor, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Cooper Medical Center in Camden. Mr. Sullivan was better known by loved ones and friends as “Bigga Buggs”.
Born in New Brunswick, NJ, Buggs was raised and lived his life in the East Windsor and Hightstown, NJ area. He worked as a furniture mover for many years, but he will be best remembered for the impact he had on the lives of his friends and family. He enjoyed sports and you could easily find him cheering on the NY Giants during football season or at his cousin, Woody’s, baseball games in the summer. He was a proud father who loved and supported his sons but most importantly he enjoyed being a Pop Pop, spoiling his granddaughter. His sense of humor and good company will be forever remembered and deeply missed. One thing he always said, and now feels more true, “It’s never goodbye, it’s always see you later”.
Predeceased by his mother, Leola Gregory, and his father, Richard Sullivan, Sr.; his memory will be carried by his three sons, Richard Sullivan, Corey Sullivan, Joseph Sullivan and his wife, Leila, and their daughter, Mila-Rose Sullivan; his brothers, Curtis Sullivan and William Sullivan; and his sisters, Shishon Evers and Lakeeta Gregory.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with a Celebration of Life to begin at 11:00 a.m., at Mount Olivet Baptist Church, 21 Reverend William L. Powell Drive, Hightstown, NJ.
Interment will follow at Brainerd Cemetery in Cranbury, NJ.
Arrangements are under the direction of Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ.
