Nicholas J. Corcodilos Obituary

Nicholas J. Corcodilos, 80, of East Windsor, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro, NJ. Born on May 20, 1945, in Princeton, NJ, Nicholas’s life was a tapestry woven with threads of service, artistry, and heartfelt connections within his community.

A proud graduate of Hightstown High School, Nick served honorably in the United States Air Force, demonstrating a commitment to duty and country that would resonate throughout his life. He returned home, Nick worked at his father’s diner, Jim’s Country Diner where he learned the restaurant industry. He later moved to Florida, where he attended cosmetology school to receive his license and embark on his new found career.  After returning to NJ, he established several businesses centered around cosmetology as well as restaurants and the renowned deli in East Windsor, The Crocadeli.  He also opened his beloved salon, Nicks and Cuts where he showcased his talents as a Master Hair Design Artist. In both roles, he discovered immense satisfaction in enhancing the lives of others and helping his clients reveal their inner beauty—a gift he truly cherished.

Nick had an adventurous spirit and found joy in the simplicity of life. He loved spending time with family and friends, creating lasting memories filled with laughter. Nick always loved to make people laugh and he was a true character! Nick loved to tell jokes and was also a real practical joker.  His generosity was boundless and his warmth, humor, and passion for his craft left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege to know him. Nick will be fondly remembered for his unwavering dedication to beauty, laughter, and connection. May he rest in peace, knowing he made a difference in the hearts of many.

He was predeceased by his parents, James Corcodilos and Evelyn Totten, and his brother, Brian Corcodilos. He is survived by his devoted brother, Christopher Corcodilos; his caring sister, Donna Bishop; and many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
