With broken hearts we mourn the loss of Lillian A. Skorich, age 83, who passed away on September 12, 2025.
A beautiful woman who left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
She was known as the best mother and grandmother anyone could have had; a gift from God to set a firm foundation and to be an example of what a strong and bold woman truly is. She was our rock, safe place and most of all our hero; with a selfless and generous heart who loved more being the giver than the receiver. Her greatest joy was in her cooking, serving her made from scratch foods, making sure no one ever left her home hungry.
Born in Newark, NJ, she lived in Spotswood until moving to East Windsor in 1978. She worked for the Monroe Township Board of Education for 33 years until retiring in 2010.
She will be greatly missed by her loving and devoted husband, Mike Skorich who has been by her side for 37 years; daughters, Bridget Mull and Kym Skye; son and daughter-in-law, Len and Katy Janowski; brother, Walter Szeliga; grandchildren, Sara, Valerie, Nicholas, Travis and Amber; great-grandchildren, Elijah, Reese, Audrey, Ivy and Jaxon; friends who are family, Gunnar and Sean; and granddoggie, Zeus.
She will be sadly missed by all of us but we know we will see her again in our God's heavenly kingdom. We stand firmly in our faith and hers.
