Joan S. Weissman, 77, of Lawrence Township, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at her residence in Lawrence Township.

Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Joan was a graduate of Vailsburg High School. She settled in Lawrence Township with her husband, Sanford. She spent many years working for Jacob Segel and Son as the accounting secretary.

Joan took great joy in being a grandmother to Aerielle and Gia, they were the light of her life. She loved taking care of her family and being a shoulder for support. In her spare time, you could find Joan enjoying one her television programs or listening to her favorite music.

Predeceased by her parents, John and Selma Bettick and her son, Joseph Rubinetti; Joan’s memory will be carried on by her loving husband, Sanford Weissman; her son and daughter-in-law, John and Irene Rubinetti; her precious granddaughters, Aerielle and Gia; as well as her extended family members and loved ones.

A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ. 

Interment will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens in Woodbridge, NJ.

Cremation Services were held privately.
