Gertrude “Trudy” Dye, 83, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025 in Hamilton, NJ.

Born in Princeton, NJ, Trudy settled in Hightstown with her husband, Carl. Trudy was a devoted wife and mother to her three children and to her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, her grandchildren fondly remember her rice pudding, and shopping and trips to Seaside and Wildwood where she liked to go for long walks.

She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Harry and Elsie Perks; her husband, Carl R. Dye; her son, Carl R. Dye, Jr. and his wife, Cindy; her granddaughter, Dakota Marie Breese; her brother, Butch Perks and his wife, Linda, and her sister, Joannie Perks. Trudy is survived by her daughters, Cathy Dye and Cyndi (Keith) Magill; her grandchildren, Hailey Dye, Daniel Dye, Katleyn Magill and Kassie Magill as well as many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., with a prayer service to begin at 5:00pm at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ

Cremation services will be held privately.
