Selmise Pacius, 72, of Plainsboro, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at CareOne in East Brunswick, NJ.

Born in Villard, in the Borough of Artibonite, Selmise immigrated to the United States in 1981, making her home in Asbury Park, New Jersey. She dedicated her career to Customer Service with the Marriott Corporation’s Host Marriott Services, where she was known for her warmth and kindness.

As a devoted mother and grandmother, Selmise cherished time with her family, found joy in gardening, and was deeply involved in her faith. She was an active member of her church community and especially passionate about singing in the choir.

She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Luciana Exumé and Méraus Dorcé. She leaves behind her four daughters—Myrtha, Misena, Juslande, and Luciane Pacius—along with her treasured grandsons: Bryan Cohen, Hunter Tomas Pacius, Brandon Cohen, Ryder Charles Pacius, and Chase Javier Pacius.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ

Cremation services will be held privately.
