Marietha Pineda, age 64, of East Windsor, passed away peacefully at her home on February 17, 2023.

Born July 20, 1958 in Guatemala to Victor Sandoval and Marina Bonilla, Marietha married Carlos H. Pineda on May 5th,1978. She moved to Chicago in 1985, then to New Jersey in 2000.

Marietha was a very hard-working woman who loved her family. She worked at Shoprite of East Windsor NJ, and loved going to work. She enjoyed poker nights with her siblings and cousins, and cherished spending time with her grandkids, Nicolas and Matthew. Marietha was the life of the party who enjoyed dancing, making people laugh and listening to marimba. She enjoyed drinking coffee and all her sweet treats.

A devout Catholic, Marietha was a devout follower of St. John Paul II, St. Padre Pio and Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Marietha is survived by her husband, Carlos; her children, Karla and Carlos:, her son-in-law, Michael; her grandchildren, Nicolas and Matthew; her siblings, Rosa Marina, Victor, Miguel and Jorge; her sister-in-law, Claudia; and her nieces and nephews, Pilar, Luis, Jorge, Maria Jose, Aura, Alba, Maria Laura, Mildred, Victor and Sara.

A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Marietha’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 27, 2023, at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 156 Maxwell Ave, Hightstown, NJ 08520.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass.
